UnitedHealth Group LHI: Infrastructure Specialist - La Crosse, WI in La Crosse, Wisconsin
Perform daily, weekly and monthly checklists to ensure efficient, balanced, secure and uninterrupted operation of all servers and equipment. Assist and support the Network Administrator I group in managing and maintaining LHI's IT infrastructure environment including user provisioning and management, ticket queue management, monitoring of servers & devices and assist the Telecom team with phone provisioning. Primary Responsibilities: Assist in front line support for the Network Administration team through ticket queue management Assist in maintaining centralized documentation of IT infrastructure information Monitor server, equipment and backups Setup and maintain AD accounts, mailboxes and distribution lists throughout their lifecycle Required Qualifications: Associate’s Degree (Equivalent combination of education, experience and/or applicable military experience will be considered) United States Citizenship Ability to obtain favorable adjudication following submission of Department of Defense eQuip Form SF86 2+ years experience in a technology environment 1+ years experience working in a Network or Systems Administrator environment Working experience with Active Directory, Networking, Windows 7/8 and Server 2008/2012 Foundational knowledge of Group Policies, Exchange Server, IIS, Terminal Services and VMWare Preferred Qualifications: Microsoft Certifications are a plus National Career Readiness Certificate Ability to take responsibility for assigned tasks and prioritize workload in a fast paced environment Ability to adhere to procedures and maintain accurate detailed records including attendance and inventorying Work independently with minimal supervision Meet scheduled work requirements Must have strong troubleshooting skills and a demonstrated commitment to solving user problems Ability to provide on-call phone support as needed at night and on weekends within a rotation schedule As a requirement of UnitedHealth Group's contract with the Department of Defense, this position requires U.S.
citizenship and proof of favorable adjudication following submission of Department of Defense eQuip Form SF86, (Position of Trust).
Successful completion of the process is a requirement for continued employment in this role. SF86 processing will be initiated by our TRICARE Security Officer post-offer, and can take 3-6 months for a final decision communication from the Department of Defense.
Candidates will be allowed to begin employment with UnitedHealth Group in this role based on an interim clearance, and final results will be communicated as they are received.
Failure to obtain final SF86 approval will result in termination from this role. Careers with LHI.
